I received a call from a lady this week who wanted to purchase a pre-owned spa as their budget was very low.
She explained that they had saved for 5 years to buy her dream spa and paid almost £10,000 with all the added extras only to find out the spa never materialised and then the company she bought it from - TRADE PRICE HOT TUBS went bankrupt so she has lost all her money.
I explained to her that we didnt have any in at the moment but we do have some great deals on 2010 models. 2 hours later she was in my showroom! She was extremely emotional and explained in more details about losing her money and also the other things that had happened to her last year and I have to say my heart went out to her. I found a spa she liked and gave her an exceptional deal and she decided to go ahead. Her spa is being delivered 3 days after ordering it and she is so excited.
I have to say I went home thinking about her and how customers get ripped off by alot of internet sellers and still couldnt see how this still happens? Why are people still taking big chances with large amounts of money? This is a huge item to purchase so surely people want to buy from a company where they can go and see the spas, test them if required and have peace of mind that they will receive 100% customer care after the spa has been installed.
I am so happy for this lady now and I hope she enjoys her new spa for many years :)
